Hannah in the USA

Pose for Mommy, we're ready to take off on our big adventure to America!

At the Seattle Mariners game, Hannah vacillated between being scared of the moose and wanting to be photographed with the moose. She finally opted for the latter. However she continues to refer to it as "the Goose" with a cackling laugh at her mispronunciation.

Hannah and her 2nd cousin Tommy, at the playground in McMinnville during our family reunion,

Hannah's best friend in America, Russell's dog, Ramsey. She still says, "I wanna go to America, Hannah misses Ramsey!"

Donovan, Russell, Sam, Hannah, RJ and Jack (name unknown in back) at Russell's house celebrating RJ's Birthday

Hannah keeping herself entertained on Amtrak en-route from Seattle to Portland. "Look at all my stickers papa!"

Hannah and her 2nd cousin Elliott at the children's museum in Seattle just prior to heading back to Japan

Hannah and her unfaltering adoration for parks and anything that she can climb. I think we visited at least 2-3 parks a day during our time in the USA. She is having withdrawals now that she's back in Japan where there aren't as challenging objects to conquer at our parks.

Hannah riding the bear at a neighborhood park/fountain in the Pearl District, downtown Portland. I think the little boy is waiting his turn.

A beautiful trip to the Columbia Gorge. Hannah loved the hike (or lack of hike) while riding in her backpack!

So many toys here I am not sure which one to pick!

Sam and Hanah at the Seattle Center. Hannah made a run into the center to touch the fountain, paused midway, got scared, and ran back to me. On the way back the fountain reengaged and sprayed the back of her head with water. Afterwords she always spoke of her fear of that "octopus fountain" In the end she said to me...."I want to go again!"
